Our virtual courses are taught by a tutor via Zoom (i.e. they are not self study courses and attendance in the lessons is imperative). If you haven't used Zoom before, don't worry, it’s very simple. We'll send you instructions before the course starts.
Popeth Cymraeg offers different kinds of courses:
We aim to offer a balanced programme of community based classes in Denbighshire and on-line provision via Zoom. We are currently rebuilding our community based provision following the Covid 19 epidemic. Classes run from September to June.
Traditional once a week courses(between 2 and 3.25 hours per week).
We use the national coursebooks (Entry, Foundation, Canolradd, Uwch) with supplementary material.
Unlimited Learning Courses using the innovative Suggestopaedia method used on the Cariad@iaith television programmes.
They are usually around 3.25 to 6 hours per week depending on the course. We use material produced by Popeth Cymraeg specifically for these courses. We are not offering this type of course this year.
Block Courses Two, three, four or five day immersion courses (non-residential) and Sadyrnau Siarad, one day courses held on Saturdays
